FREE ZOOM TRAINING

This training teaches ways to keep your loved one or client with intellectual/developmental disabilities safe and focuses on the intersection of disabilities and mental health. Each training date will cover the same material, but you're welcome to join as many as you like!

GET SAFE® certificates of attendance are provided!


Topics covered include:

  • Interactive discussions and practical scenarios
  • Valuable skills in de-escalation techniques, advocating for services, caring for your own mental health
  • Knowledge and confidence to provide compassionate and effective support to individuals with dual diagnosis

Frequently asked questions

Should I attend more than one?

All sessions will cover the same material, so you don't have to! We provided multiple sessions so that everyone can find a time that works for them.

How will I get my certificate of attendance?

You will request your certificate at the end of class by submitting our feedback survey. You must do this to get your certificate! Our staff generate certificates and will send them out within 7-10 business days.
